Target & Strategy is overall company objective and you cant say that this dept is better or that dept is better.

basic road map is prepared by corporate strategy while front line execution is done by Sales & Admin which finance for same is raised by Fin dept while resources ( Hr & others) are managed by HR & Admin

juz to add few more points with the help of an example.

take the case of your family to understand it in the simplest form.

Technical Department means your electrician who looks after your electricity, without whom u would not b able to see this posting:Rolling laughter:

Sales is what your mother does whenever she buys anything in the mkt as sales n purchase are similar, u juz need to put your self in the other situation.

Customer Care is when your mom takes care of the guests n maintain relations with your neighbours n relatives.

need not to explain the role of Finance as you dad needs to earn so that you can study n fill your tummy.

Human Resource is when your mom needs a new maid as hiring a wrong maid can lead to thefts or attrition which consumes further time n efforts.

admin- self explanatory

is what your daddy is GM.he manages all of your family members and take new decisions.
