I am new to this forum, infact I registered 2day only. I have 5 Years of work experience and for last three years , I am in IT sector. I am considering the course "General Management Programe for IT Professionals" from IIM Calcutta. Can any one put some light on this course and how helpfull is this for career growth! I am already an MBA (2 Year Full Time from Utkal University). Is there any one who is doing this course or this type of course, from any IIM. I am into SAP and again want to shift to management and administration, but this time in IT industry. This is an one year Online course through Hughes net, costintg arround 1.3 Lakhs + other costs. Please tell me the pros and cons of this course and its practical benefit. I have two options, one is 'SAP-certification' and other is "GMP-IT" and I am more inclined towards this course,ofcourse for the IIM tag.

Go for SAP course buddy as I am not very sure about this Direway course value in short term though It might be helpful in long term.
