I am Rajib , I am planning to do Distance MBA course from symbiosis but I do not have idea regarding this. Can anyone tell me when the next session will be started? What is the fee structure?
Please advice. Because I want to join distance MBA course as soon as possible.

Dear all,

I am a student of SCDL, 2007 batch. You all can get the required information on the courses offered and subjects on the website of SCDL.

As far as the sessions are concerned, the session for 2008 batch has already commenced. Those who want to take admission to the course will have to do it this year. The notifications are out on the website aorund July, when the prospectus sale begins. You can even order the prospectus by post. There are walkin admissions. No entrance test. Course fees are approximately Rs.25,000. The course material is very good. I personally have got a lot to learn through the course. The course is sure to enhance and hone your skills.

Do let me know in case you all require some more information.

Hi Arindam,

SCDL has no branch in India. It has study centres in Nashik and Bangalore. But SCDL has online examination centre in all big cities where you can take exams.

This is Raghav from ludhiana(punjab). I wanna do MBA through correspondence from any good brand. Right now, if I can think of some institute is, those wud b ICFAI, IGNOU, Symbi. Can u suggest me where to go on this coz i dont have any idea which one is good. And how about a distant MBA from IIM's??

first of all there r no entrance exams in symbiosis distance learning(scdl).....next session of mba in symbiosis will start from every july i.e july2009 ....u can get d forms from punjab national bank's branches or icici's. it has 4 sems . 2 sem in each year. as u've got d fee details so i'll leave dat part. subjects in each sem would depend on ur field or specialization. u have to do a project report .starting from 2nd sem which u have to submit at d end of d sem. all assignments are to be given at home & all exams at exam centres.u'll have 2 assingments for one subject & 2 chances for each. one can submit d assignment till d end of d registration period. other things u will get to know when u'll read d material posted to u by scdl. & also d scdl site will help u in all your queries. do read all that material & booklet u get from scdl.also do not forget to check FAQs on ur scdl site ,they keep on changing.

I have send admission form no. for admission to pgdba batch 2009-11 alongwith the bank draft no.and registration fee on dated 08/07/2009, but not get any admission letter till now . although i hav recieved a mail of registration no.

As per the instructions I have to deposit Rs 15,000 upto 24th july 2009(which is ready for dispatch) as a first installment.On the reverse side of bank draft I have to affix barcode also(with other details) which is not yet recieved.
so kindly tell that can i sent the bank draft without the barcode.:confused:
plz tell me that i hav to send fee form which was provided at SCDl website

Yes ur right that symbiosis is offering diploma not MBA but this is equivalent to MBA course.and there are many institutes which offers executive MBA , i think IIM calcuta is also starting this course

All 2009 batch students who have sent their Registration form with Rs 1,000/- DD from 1-15th July 2009, will be receiving Confirmation Letter / ID Card/login details by 30th July 2009, subject to delay by Postal Department. The students who have sent the 1st installment DD's with the admission form are requested to check the updates in the Student Centre login after 30th July 2009

You can check the admission status in the meanwhile through below given link.

On receipt of the registration number from the above link you can send the program fees with the help of fee payment form from the website.

The DD should be in favor of The Director, SCDL, payable at Pune. Please ensure you mention the registration number/barcode label on the reverse of the DD

It seems u can pay the program fee after u get the receipt. I assume u can pay without the late payment fee. They may revise the Due Date. anyway its better if contact them and enquire.
