Hi there!

My girlfriend (19 years) is currently studying B.Com at Bangalore. She wanted to do BBM because so she can finish studies more quikly, but bad luck she couldnt get BBM (instead of BCom). Now she is very upset. Now i don't know about the courses in india (because im a medical student in Holland, lol) but i want to help her to look brightly to the future of her studies.
So please can someone hnelp me answer this question:
What options are there after B.Com? So which studies she can continu with? Please tell about all courses.

It would be a great help if someone could help us! Thanks in advance!

Choosing M.B.A. or C.A. is best for her to make careers in Management or Finance After B.Com she has a wide range of options. she can either go in for employment or pursue further studies. Like go in for a professional course such as Chartered/Cost Accountancy (CA/ ICWA) or Corporate Secretaryship (CS). or she can opt MBA with specialization in Finance. If not interested in MBA or CA she can go for certificate courses from NIIT & other reputed institutes....But that all depends on what she want to achieve in life..

For a while she was contented to do BCom. But know again she is very upset, because the beginning is already very hard for her, Company Law etc. And her friends (who are doing bbm) told her dat bbm is much easier than bcom. I hope she wil become and stay happy with BCom. I wil tel her about her career options. Thanks alot Nikhu!

Ask her to develop interest in what she is doing instead of listening to others. Nothing is difficult if she starts taking interest & if she doesn’t than nothing is easy whether its B.Com or BBM. Ask her to talk to her teachers, seniors they can be real help for her. And the most important thing is to BELIEVE IN HERSELF.
