I started my MBA experience a week ago, and it has been amazing so far.

But I already have an assignment for the Marketing class and I so not have any experience in this area. So, here is my cry for help, please try to point me in the right direction.

The paper consist in developing a marketing plan (using real data) to launch a start-up company that is looking to deliver an existing product (e.g., technology, service, good, patent, etc.) to a new market. The market can be completely new or just new division for an existing company.

This task was assigned yesterday and I came up with a couple of ideas:
- deliver, in my country, adjustable kids shower’s to diminish their reluctance to shower (I took this idea from SkyMall :-) )
- Create a cellular phone allusive to the most popular TV show for teenagers in my country.
- Create aluminum beer cups to have around the house (I assume this would be popular with guys during football day, and it could be a new division for a beer company).

As you can see, my ideas are near primate, so all help and tips are welcomed...

Hi,

Your ideas are pretty good but also try out for some more topics. Then once you have collected all the topics then start classifying the Market targeting, segmenting and positioning for the various ideas, by doing you would be able to find the best topic. then start with the project. All the best !
