what is the work ex. vs salary for lateral hires at IIM in different industry verticals like???

Seems we are in the same boat ..I too have 5+ yrs IT exp and have calls from all six . I have couple of frenz (passed out from IIM A/C) ..They say placements (especially laterals) are more about finding the "right-fit" . So the quality and relevance of your work-ex (apart from other factors like acads) will prompt the recruiter to give a reasonable offer ..there are no set rules (DRL offered my friend 10.5L in IIMC, he had 4+ yrs of mktg experience before joining IIMC)...

However , there are no rules and it depends on how you market yourself to your prospective employer ..however the quality and nature of your work-ex can definitely give you an edge
