Well, I m planning for abroad studies and especially interested in MBA from Abroad.I am myself from commerce feild and have around a yr of exp it related and i have also appeared for cat and scored around 60 percentile..well i don't know were to start from for Mba program preparation i.e. gmat and other reserach i need to do for the same...can you pls help me?

The best way to start would be to check out some of the posts on this forum right from the begining. Coolavenues also has a GMAT yahoo group which you could subscribe to. This will help you to understand what some of the GMAT and MBA prospects are planning to do.

You can also check out the GMAT website as well as others like the BusinessWeek forums.

Keep your experience, educational background and career aspirations in mind while evaluating the kind of schools you want to go to. Several B-School rankings exist in the free domain to help you choose schools based on the specialisations they offer.
