Hi all!!
i am 24 years old working with a state owned telecom major.I am having a toal work ex of arnd 2 years till now.Though I am geting good exposure but still i feel that this was not where i wanted to be.B'coz i always wanted to earn a flat bulgy pay package.which i don't think my present job will be able to give me being a job in public sector.right now i m getting a take home salary of 2.5 la p.a.
that's the case and so i feel i shd do mba frm a gud iim institute so that i could get gud growth in my career.
Pls suggest me whether i shd stick to my present job being a safe and stable bet or either i shd prepare for cat and get into a gud inst.
suggestion reqd.
thanks in advance :)

Hi

I will suggest you to write CAT first.. if you get into IIMs nothing like .. there are lot many ppl who leave railways, DOT etc to get into IIMs

however you must decide on the career you want to make .. later on money is not the primary thing .. you must also like your job .. if you wnat to be a techie .. then pursue higher degrees in that hgo to US .. do MS or something like that but if you want to be in management fireld.. go for CAT

if you get into ABCL ... thingsd will be smooth

and regarding safe job, did anybody ever imagined in 1990 that VSNL one day wiull be sold to Tatas or IPCL will be a Reliance company

Brother what your concern is not clear. Is it money or is it career you are looking forward. I would say you can prepare while you are working. your work ex will be surely counted. I wish you luck.

cheers

i suggest you to write CAT as everyone else is telling you. you can increase your salary by around 5 times if you do your mba from IIM's , so better get going and strat preparing asap.

Thank You.
