hi all,
can someone pls tell me whether i should take CAT while in 7th sem engg or complete 8th sem and later take the Exam.however i am still in 1st sem e&c.

Me too in the 1st sem of engg. Perhaps this place is not for us. there shd b a column for CAT07 takers.
Friend as far as I hv heard, lets give CAT in 7th sem with full prep. If unsuccessful, v cn try an year l8. The CAT prep would also help in the campus interview and its a win-win situation. I would b concentrating on the verbal section right from the 3 sem. Now just party..... :D
