Hi,

I'm working professional in the USA, having completed MS in Comp Sci. I was planning to attempt the GMAT for the IIM-A 2005-2007 batch.

A couple of quick questions:

1) Is there a minimum GMAT score required for getting admission into the IIM-A programme.?
(viz. to be more specific, what was the GMAT score for the 2004-2006 batch.?)

2) How many seats are reserved for overseas candidates for the IIM-A batch ?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Mahesh

Hey Mahesh,

I am not aware of any minimum GMAT score for the IIMs. Considering the small number that apply, I would imagine that it is in the 730-740 category. The IIMs take the same stand as their global counterparts in highlighting that the GMAT is only one criteria. However, considering the small number of overseas applicants, chances are that the average GMAT score would be high. There is no stated quota for overseas candidates either.

I will update this post as I am able to obtain additional information.
