I have completed my Engg. in Computers and i've applied for CAT 2005.
My academic marks have been real bad (60's) both schoolin and college.
so i need to know which b-school to apply...ones, which do not give a LOT OF CONSIDERATION TO prev. acad. marks..i know all b-schools give a lot of pref. to the acads.
but i would like to know which are the good ones where i can apply havin the acads in mind .

Hi

let me first clear your perception that past acads are one of the most imp parameter for gettinginto CAT. There are oneof the parameter but notthe sole thing. Every institute set a diff weightage scale on various factors and take out the final list only on the basis of that. e.g 50- 70% weightage goes to CAT score, 20% to GD/ PI, 10% to past academic performance. this all are at various varying stage, so you can vary themby 5-10% mark. So you need not be disappointed on the basis of this only. Now second issue is ofyour calibre, for that you shall give 2-3 mock tests and see what is yourpotentail and then target a B-school depending upon your potential.
