However my past academic record is: 83% & 84%(53% in Maths) in 10th and 12th standard and 92%in B.B.A. Is it enough for getting selected during the selection process at IMI? I'm also the college(autonomous institution) topper in B.B.A degree.I've also completed courses in Oracle 9i & MS Office. Please reply. devang 10-26-2004, 08:32 AM hi ram ur scores are pretty good, so if you qualify for interview & GD, be sure to crack it :) curtz 10-27-2004, 04:29 AM hi ram, u hav a good academic record....if u can clear d reqd cat cutoffs for IMI...then ur good academic track record will surely have a positive influence on ur gd/pi... hope 2 c u in IMI best of luck for CAT 2004 keep smiling saikat bose pgp 2004-06 IMI alok_som 10-29-2004, 02:46 AM i have some doubts about cut-offs for various colleges in b- schools other than iims in top 20. well i joined cat series and i am consistently getting above 90% percintile i am just passed out engg. without exp. and avg. acads. i am confused in which college i should apply. and more important is in which college with given score i hold a good chance in getting call. my budget for application is quiet low so please guide me. yours sincerely alok somwanshi pune curtz 10-29-2004, 06:42 PM hi alok... well definitely scoring consistently above 90 percentile is very very good...but you should also keep d sectional cutoffs in mind...as they matter in most top b-schools.... also i feel if u can up ur ante jst a bit over d nxt 20 days or so....u have a decent chance of cracking one of d iims.... abt d other colleges try having a score of around 95 percentile 4 having a somewaht safe positions in gd/pi of IMI, IMT, MICA...etc... my personal opinion is @ apart 4m iims.... other top schools like spj, mdi, nitie ,imi n imt should b applied. abt imi expected cutoffs r xpected 2 b around 92 percentile dis time. best of luck for cat 2004 keep smiling saiKat bose pgp 2004-06 IMI |
