hi,

avg salary - 4.1 lacs / p.a

we are ranked in 13 in avg domestic salary in india by recent BW ranking,

a salary offered to a person also depends on his past work exp,,

we are on par with any other top bschool in infrastructure.

far more detailed info, visit our website.

Hi,I'm a B.B.A student aspiring to do an MBA in one of the top B-Schools in India.

However my past academic record is:
83% & 84%(53% in Maths) in 10th and 12th standard and 92%in B.B.A.

Is it enough for getting selected during the selection process at BIM? I'm also the college(autonomous institution) topper in B.B.A degree.I've also completed courses in Oracle 9i & MS Office.
Apart from this I also have a good record of extra curricular activities, good communication and sports achievements too.

Please reply.

hi,
the fact that u had indicated your% appears like u want to know its importance in admission process .
well whatever u had mentioned as u r positives, counts in admission process but that doesn't guarantee you admission.
wat is more important is the test, G.D & interview . this process tests much more than the stated positive qualities u mentioned.

in my opinion u have descent track record.

all the best.

Hi,

I have heard from various sources and also seen a few people going unplaced which is sad considering that everyone shouts 100% placements from the rooftops. Even the IIMs and other premier B-schools are not being able to place 100% of their students. How far does this hold true for BIM?

Whats the percentage at BIM? Please do not give me fabricated figures. I will base my decision on various other sources also. But this will also give me a picture of the values that a BIMite follows considering so much of emphasis is placed on values and such stuff at BIM.

Please reply.

hi buddy,

i dont know about the placements of other institute but i can vouch that there is 100% placement in BIM, if you look at our placement report in our website ,we had given the companies & no of offers made by them. so there is no stand of fudging the data as this companies recruits repeatedly and they also check up the info of our placement report.

your suspicions are quite natural & there is no gainsaying that things like wat u mentioned are happening around.
but there is one generally accepted truth that quality of placement deteriorates from first to last person & applies to every Bschool.

we at BIM have descent offers unlike times where a person is asking for specific functional profile.
and being a govt instt we dont have any gain to lure applicants.

all the best

i have some doubts about cut-offs for various colleges in b- schools other than iims in top 20.
well i joined cat series and i am consistently getting above 90% percintile
i am just passed out engg. without exp. and avg. acads.
i am confused in which college i should apply. and more important is in which college with given score i hold a good chance in getting call.
my budget for application is quiet low so please guide me.

yours sincerely

hi,

reg this best info will be from u r coaching cntre as they gauge reglrly,
cut off varies with no of applcants, test difficulty,

u can apply for tapmi,fore,imi etc - cat 90percentile
however try to apply for atlest one instt like mdi in that cadre . so that u must not miss the chance.

i have got overall percentile of 57.77. is this enough for getting calls from BIM. does BIM have sectioanl cut offs for its admissions or does it look at the overall %ile.

I GOT 87 PERCENTILE IN XAT2005. DO YOU THINK I WILL GET A CALL FROM BIM?

saravana

it depends on the total no of students taken XAT , above all the percentile score of students applied for BIM .

BIM may call around top 600 - 700 scores for next stage.

i cant specifically say abt it.as urs is not a bad score u can make an attempt , if luck prevails u may get a call
