hi,
i'll turn 22 this november. i am giving my last four papers of ca final exam is from 5 to 9 nov. i have also registered for cat, snap and xat.my preparation for cat is not that strong as is obvious coz i give first prioroty to ca.my questions are
1) avg starting salary for a ca is 15000. what is avg sal for ca+mba ?
2) if i dont get admisn in any of the top bschools is it worth investing 2 years for an mba from lower b schools like nirma,kj somaiya, welingkars, etc....
3) i hav only applied for cat, spjain, sibm, xlri and scmhrd...?
4) what if i work somewhere for 2-3 years and than go for a 1 yr exec mba or part-time mba?
i am confident of giving a good performance in xat, snap not in cat

Hi after MBA from a good school, you can expect a package of 3 to 4 lakh at min and 8-9 lakh at upper crust easily.

) if i dont get admisn in any of the top bschools is it worth investing 2 years for an mba from lower b schools like nirma,kj somaiya, welingkars, etc....

well u can if you r deperate to do MBA now, though NIRMA is ok types and u can expect 25k plussalary therebut as you are pretty tyoung, you can work for 2 years andthen go for CAT

3) i hav only applied for cat, spjain, sibm, xlri and scmhrd...?
go to scmhrd only ifyou are keen to go in HR

4) what if i work somewhere for 2-3 years and than go for a 1 yr exec mb a or part-time mba?

I think it is better to go full time until unless you are working at big 5 at decent salary but stillat that level if you can get into IIMs you slary will get 3times boost

:)

so best of luck
