siib is a decent enuf international bizness skool but its simply not in the league of iift....in international bizness iift is ahead of its compeititors by miles....but siib gives u decent placements...so if u don't want to waste a year..the siib can be a good option...but yes dont think beyond this two..

I agree with curtz,
SIIB, is average, nowhere near IIFT though.
But this time they are really being very chhosy in selecting students, wonder why ? the cut-offs from SNAP test seem to be as high as 67 ?? :shock:
Isn't that crazy ?? and what is all that I hear of them prefering CAs and Engr with work-ex ?? That's a really sick strategy. Its like taking people ho are very "saleable" in the job market. That is usually not a bad idea, but it defeats the purpose of a B-School.
My point is that instead of taking those who can easily get a job even without an MBA degree, SIIB admin are almost exposing their weaknes with regards to getting their students placed

hmmm windisha..an interesting and a good observation...i think siib with this approach wants to be on a safer side...it seems that their strategy is select the placeable so that 2 yrs down the line they can be placed without much effort...definitely not good for prospective students...

Everyone thinks about IIFT and Siib ,but u people don't know that a skool is there in international business which is coming up with a its unique standard and its AMITY INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SCHOOL....boom ...no matter the AMITY has deaffiliated by AICTE but i feel they are fulfilling each standards in making the budding mangers as global players... they are coming with new vigour ....
