Hi
Ithink in that case youneed to look atDireway programin a diff light. this program is more designed for executives who are already working and wish to acquire knowledge. further changing stream will not be possible with this program as I am not sure about the placement scenario. It will be better if you ask pointed questions about placements.
Now regarding one year programs, ISB, IIMs and even XLRI offers the same but they dont help in changing tracks but rather help in advancing in the same line.
Hence you need to be claer as desired results might not come. further if u are interested in consulting orteaching, try for FPM, which is PHd and is of 4 yearduration but u get paid scholarship

Hi Ramki,
Thnx for ur prompt response. My requirement is that program should be of one year duration as I have a family to support and also not full time and in Delhi only. Is there any institute which can offer me the same. even if i want to continue in the same line which is the best. FMS part ime needs preparation and also the same with MDI.

hi
i think given the constraints and hard bound problems, DirecWay looks the only solution :)
and it seems u hv made your point already. but do keep in mind the observations made by Ramki

How r the part time programs of IMT, IMI as P/T programs of fmS and MDI also need corporate sponsorship. But direcway courses are very expensive (Rs 1.80 L) for one year. Also I talked to some students of Direcway profram but the feedback was not very positive.
Pls suggest me a way out as I am at the crossroads of my career

There is one simple fact
part time MBA programs in india do not given any career advancement and ifyou are thinking by doing a part time course you will get a frog leap jump, i think your assumptions are not very valid.
the course which will give you any advantage at your age and work ex are ISB,IIM A ( one year program) rest are just wastage of money

Hi Guys,
I have an interview call for XLRI PCBM course. I am working in a software firm and would like to undergo this course so as to have an understanding of management course. Please guide me as to what kind of questions are expected in such interviews. A prompt reply would be appreciated.
