Hi,I am pursuing MBA at ICFAI BSCHOOL,Hyderabad.I am confused about the specialization I should take.My profile is given below:
BCOM (with Computers) 61 percent[/b]
Work ex of 2.5 years in BPO at Dell and HP,Bangalore ( 1 year of which was in capacity of group leader.
MBA Summer Internship at COCA COLA INDIA,marketing project
Strengths:Communication and leadership skills
Weakness:Not very sound in finance fundamentals but can be brushed up in about three months

I am basically planning to take 6 papers in finance and 3 in marketing
but am confused if 6 in finance,2 in marketing and 2 in insuarance would make a better combination.I have no prior exposure to the insuarance sector but am confident about the prospects of this industry.

Please advice on what I should do.

Letus accept the fact marketing is ur focus area and whatever you do, fin is going to remain second fiddle, so better focus on mark and take papers in insurance, mutual fund etc so that you can get into marketing of financial products.
