Hello friends,
I have just started preparing for the CAT, I seriously wanted to know that is it a possibility to get success while starting at this point in time.

Along with this i also wanted to know the substantial marks(Questions to be attempted correctly) needed in each section to get a call from the IIM's:
a)RC
b)QUANT
c)VERBAL
d)DI,DS,LR

Also how much time should i put/day -( 2,4,6 hrs ? )
(I'am not very good in maths)

Hi ashok, "There is no fix criteria for cat exam. There are five sections in cat exam same as like in mat exam and the cat syllabus is almost same as like in any other entrance exam. The only difference is that cat exam is difficult as compared to mat exam. It includes the following topics:

1.Verbal ability and reasoning

2.Reading Comprehension

3.Quantitative skills

4.Data Interpretation

5.Analytical and Logical reasoning"

I am Umang Kumar and I am pursuing MBA from International Academy of Business Management (IABM) at Pune. It’s really a nice institute, there is a proper environment for studies & adequate faculty. You can pursue your MBA from this institute. I would like to introduce this institute. You can visit here & have some sessions to know more.

You need to plan and work according to your capabilities... First focus on your basics ...
The second phase would be working on the speed with which you solve ...
Thr is not much time left so you need to devote as much time as you can to excel in this year's CAT

Good luck
