View Full Version : Correspondence MBA@ICFAI,Hyd
kaushaladarsh 10-30-2005, 01:36 AM Hi all,
See how the ICFAI's correspondence MBA is different from other institues:-
1. The MBA degree is recognised by the UGC.
2. Its course curriculum is better than any other institute providing corrseponding MBA.
3. Admission takes place four times in a year.
4. Examination takes place around the country, so flexibity of the exam centre.
5. You will complete the MBA in 2 years while other institue's MBA duration is 3 years.
6. The maximum time for completion of MBA is 7 years.
7. It is 10th rank B-SCHOOL.
8. It provides wide range of electives.
9. It do not charge you anything for the application form.
For more details, conatct me @ 09885861534
Thanks and regards

devang 11-10-2005, 08:25 AM Hi ignore the marketing message from ICFAI. Correspondance course of ICFAI has no value at all
it is pure waste
nalini mohan 11-23-2005, 06:20 PM hi.
ICFAI HAS ITS OWN VALUE IN TERMS OF MBA PART TIME / FULL TIME/ OR CORRESPONDENCE COURSE.
ALL THE STUDENTS ARE PLACED IN DIFFERENT MNC'S AND OTHER INDIAN COMPANIES IN INDIA IN GOOD POSITIONS.
ICFAI WILL GIVE PLACEMENT GUARANTEE FOR ALL THE STUDENTS WHO PASS THROUGH ICFAI AND THE RECENT B'SCHOOL RATING BY DIFFERENT AGENCIES IS THE CLEAR PROOF OF OUR IDENTITY AND THE VISION THAT WE HAVE FOR THE FUTURE OF ALL THE STUDENTS WHO ENROLL WITH US.
UNLESS A STUDENT GET PLACED IN A REPUTED ORGANIZATION THERE IS NO POINT FROM WHERE EVER HE COMPLETES HIS MANAGEMENT COURSE.IF ICFAI. THEN IT IS GUARENTEED.
devang 11-24-2005, 10:10 PM hi nalini
seems u hv been planted by ICFAI to campaign for it.
well best parameter to judge its success is placements and let them come out with all facts.
and we all know it is pure carp insti, in same leagure with IIPM
itsnaren 04-10-2006, 08:57 PM mmmm..
I m confused..
Is it gud or bad..

deepblue 04-11-2006, 07:05 PM hi

svijju 11-07-2006, 03:16 PM But what about fee structure?
mukesh.w.kumar 11-28-2006, 08:08 PM Is correspondence mode MBA through ICFAI recognized by AICTE?
If they are providing Job guarantee can they dish out records of the placed students on demand ? Wavey
devang 11-28-2006, 10:28 PM Hi Mukesh
You can go through various posts. part time MBA is good for knowledge to have some advantage compared to non MBA but not at par with regular MBA.
It also depends in which area you wish to go for an MBA ?? having just an MBA is not going to help you in long run.
so where do we lnd --
what abt the fee
is there a clear view abt the icfai
snazzyanil 03-23-2007, 01:54 PM Helloall.....as far as my knowledge goes ICFAI is a bogus Institute which doesnt have a hostel for its students..forget abt placements??????so whyto fool people aroundwith such a nasty business staretegy???
lashkarwala 07-16-2007, 05:33 PM Hi All,
I am a software engineer working with a MNC and having 2 yrs of exp in IT field. I am planning to pursue MBA in IT& Systems via distance learning and after doing some research I came to a conclusion that Symbi or ICFAI would be the best bargain.
Can anybody help me out by suggesting me which would be better ICFAI or Symbi (When I compare course content of both the institutes I found ICFAI is having an edge over Symbi) or it would be great if anyone can suggest a better institute then them.
Regards,
Abdulkader

From the experience of my friends I think ICFAI is OK. What you should also compare is the frequency of exams and whether their any branch is convenient to you for approaching for study material, exam centre etc.
wish you best of luck.

Viplav24 02-21-2008, 05:16 PM hi freinds,
i am also doing my MBA from icfai correspondance,
i am also in dileama, about the value of icfai
although i have 7yrs. of work expereience in garment field, and really not depend very much on the course, but i am doing this course for enhancement of my skills,
and very honestly i find in future it will be useful,
it is better to have something than nothing,
and knowledge you gain by studying will never go waste,
ya, i know that there is no comparison between full time mba and correspondance mba, but my dear freind i find it is also not easy to clear out even correspondance mba also,
because you have to give your full efforts, as for working professional it becomes difficult to spare sometime for study
thanks
