Hi friends

I am MBA(HR)& currently pursuing M.Sc(Applied Psychology) From Annamalai Univ.(Distance eDu.).I have only one yr. exp. and that too 60% in HR (recrt.)
I want to see myself as HR-Consultant- who device policies, strategies, research, for the Companies, something like what Consultants do in big Hr consulting firms like-Hewitt,Mercer,Hay group, etc.
as someday I want to work for these companies.I think I can fit into that role very well as I have an aptitude for that.

Pls. guide me as to what field/task/roles I should take up in HR jobs now ,so that I can make myself Consultant over a period of time.Any further studies to be done?

Pls. help

thanks

Hi Shefali

To get into that mode you might consider MA from TISS or PMIR course from XLRI.

otherwise right now you need to understand basics of HR and hence you shall get in jobs as which give you basic understanding of HR functions.
