Hi !!
I am Sabrinathan. MBA aspirant.. Need some help / advise..
I am a Post Graduate in Commerce from Bombay University and also a Chartered Accountant with 5 + years post qualification experience.
Am working currently and as far as possible would not like to leave my job.
Would like to know all available options for an MBA.
I came across hughes distance learning program on the Net.
They have tieups with IIMC and XLRI for post graduate programs for general management. Are these good / recognised by the industry ? Do they have the same weightage / value as full time courses (esp as the course material etc seems to be the same)
Pl suggest a good course for MBA under distance learning / part time.

Hello Friends
I am Ravi Kshirsagar from Pune. I am a science postgraduate (M.Sc. Biotechnology) currently associated with a Biotech firm in Pune. I hold a five year post degree experience and presently transiting from a moddle managerial position to the upper managerial one. However I work mainly in scientific and technical domain and nothing to do with the business.
I am really keen to enhance my manageriakl skills ina way that it could help me to work on science and business interface ie a technocommercial qualification. As a short term goal I am working on understanding the technical details of my field and correlating them to the business fundam, entals. Ny the time I soend 3-4 years more here..I want to acquire a MBA. I beleive this will help me to transform myself as an industry expert who understands both science as well as business.
However my ideas are not very clear and not sure whether my gestures are correct or not. Its just my positive attitude which is driving me to upgrade my qualification and experience in all tha possible ways.
Can you please suggest me what should be the best option for a candidate like me. Which course should I persue. How should I determine the weightage of a course and prove its worth for me in later times.
I may not have been able to write all the detalils which I have, since the ideas are vague and nothing is composed, but anyone fromthis community if finds this thred intereseting, please reply. This will help me to further explain myself in a better way.
Ravi

Hi Friends,
I'm Suganya Shanmugam from Coimbatore.
I felt great to introduce myself in this forum.
I completed my "Electronics & Communication Engineering" in Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College,Coimbatore, TamilNadu, INDIA.
Then i did my Management studies with specialization as HR and Operations in Kongu School Of Management Studies, Erode, TamilNadu, INDIA.
I'm keenly interested in HR, So i did my Project in HR Field under the topic "Employee Engagement" in JUST DIAL PVT LTD, Bangalore for the period of three months. Its one of the great time in JUSTDIAL because associates are interested to response to my survey. At the end of the analysis, we came to know about their needs and recommendations are given to the management.
Once i completed the degree, i'm awaiting for the companies and post the resume every where.
Then I got a great opportunity in "ROBERT BOSCH" for Internship.
Its one of the great pleasure to be a part of BOSCH.
I have put under one of the project in Coimbatore. The rationale behind the project is " How to attract the fresh and lateral talent in and around Coimbatore?
Main Core of this project is to find the expectations of the talent and then analyzing the Gap.
Once More week is there to complete this project.
In these periods, i have learnt how to interact with the people, Management decisions, Delegation, Honesty, Uniqueness, Punctuality,
Integrity etc., but i have to learn more.
I'm interested to start my career in Business Analyst.
As I'm new to this forum, i too will start soon to post related to management.
Thanks & Regards,
Suganya Shanmugam
