Default Help With the Quant Section

Hi guys,

I've been taking MBA classes for a month or so and have come to a point where I know my strengths and weaknesses.

My English is quite strong and I regularly get a rank among the top 50 in TIME's mock CATs (percentile of 99+).

My DI is decent too, though I struggle a bit at reasoning based questions.

The biggest problem I have is in the Quant section.

Although my Maths had always been strong, due to a lack of practice, I barely manage to beat the cut-off marks in the QA section.

So I want to ask you guys: can someone make it to the IIMs with a very strong score in VA, strong score in LDI, and just about average in Quant? Or do I need to burn the midnight oil and get my scores up in Quant too?
