hey guys,

I was reading the posts and really wnat to thank everyone for cool advice on what to read to prepare for GD. It really helped me a lot. So I thought I too should pass on the good news to anyone who recieved call from IIMs this year. On 30th Jan Sunday IIM campus Kolkata a workshop will be held on how to crack GD/PI and the best thing is that it will be conducted by IIM students only. Its a great initiavtive guys. Harvard Business Review is also an excellent read for MBA GD/PI. It gives an approach of thinking... The cost per issue is Rs. 500. If you are not willing to spend that much, you can also download it from sharing sites.

For preparing for GD you must be updated with all current happening and should develop a view point regarding all important matters.In GD its important how you presenting your point>You must read newspaper and competitive magazines to stay updated.For PI the most important thing is Confidence.Be smart and confident.Body postures also have great impact in PI.

It's not about what you read what journals and weekly's you read... its about how well read and aware you are on various topics... I brief read of the latest Google News on your cell / laptop is more than enough for a daily dose...

Apart from that I would suggest daily reading of the Economic Times... It will not only improve your knowledge but it will also improve your vocabulary, written as well as speech...
