With this right coming into force.... India joined the league of the selected few countries in the world where education is a fundamental right

it wont be easy to implement it in a large country like our's... it would have been better if it had been experimented in few states with better infrastructure ....

what you say guys?

I think this is wonderful. It is much needed..however we should not just leave it to government but take an initiative ourselves to ensure that smooth implementation occurs.

That's really great that every one has right to get education even the poor ones because according to this bill every child between the ages of 6 to 14 years has the right to free and compulsory education.

And this fine system is good for those who does not support for girl's education.

This will turn out to be a failure just like the Child labour Act (came into existence in 1986) which prohibits children under 14 from working in shop, commercial establishment, work-shop, farm, residential hotel, restaurant, theatre or other place of public amusement or entertainment.

Don't you see any such child working around in any such place?

These acts are meant for increasing the count of number of achievements of the government...

Education initiatives study, Rights to Edcuation The importance of learning is to enable the individual to put his potentials to optimal use. Education makes man a right thinker and a correct decision-maker. It achieves this by bringing him knowledge from the external world, teaching him to reason and acquainting him with past history, so that he can be a better judge of the present. With education, he finds himself in a room with all its windows open to the outside world. A well educated man is a more dependable worker, a better citizen, a centre of wholesome influence, pride to his community and honour to his country. A nation is great only in proportion of its advancement in education.

Under the RTE Act, it is envisaged that, the teaching-learning process would be stress-free and a massive programme for curricular reform would be initiated to provide for a child friendly learning system, that is at once relevant and empowering. Similarly, the Teacher accountability systems and processes would ensure that the children are learning and that their right to learn in a child friendly environment is safeguarded.

Education is one the best treasurership and mighty gifts that we can give to our children. For me, every person is entitled to have a right to be educated for his/her personal growth to contribute for the growth of the society as a whole. College education maybe expensive but most of us send our child to a prestigious schools because we know that they deserve to be taught at any cost and for this aiming to be enrolled in Ivy League is on a high want. On the other hand, we know that this is not merely easy but a high hope is all we raise. The number of applications is soaring at the country's Ivy League educational institutions, making enrollment administrators to be more selective. Many schools are accepting students at record-low rates. Those seeking an Ivy League education may now find getting accepted to be a much larger obstacle than previously.

Thank you very much and best regards. Abigale Cribe.
