This is to inform all MBA aspirants that they should never think of taking admission in INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH, AHMEDABAD (IBMR). The college is one of the four branches of IBMR B-School, main branch at Hubli, Karnataka.The college is having no faculty, they are employing only visiting faculties. College doesn't provide any placement help to students, no company ever visit to IBMR,Ahmedabad campus. Students are left in precarious situation when paying high amount of fees and not getting any placement. The college doesn't have it's campus even, it's having a road side 3 floors building and that too is rented building. Worst situations is that college has bankrupted to such a level that they don't provide even drinking water and no canteen facility also. The college promises very high in their prospectus having photos of first class hostel but on the contrary college doesn't have any hostel, they only help in providing P.G. that too is 8th wonder of the world.So I want all the MBA aspirants to never think of taking admission in IBMR, Ahmedabad and try to make others also aware about it.

Well, I have been a student of this institute
It has good faculty and it has excellent visiting faculties(who are the people having sound experience of academics and corporates as well)
So the more focus is on getting better professors, so what if they are coming for 2-3 hours a day
So far as concerned to the infrastructure and the facilities
It has a well equipped and air conditioned campus with proper water and canteen facilities. Canteen is closed only when there are vacations or when its the period for summer internship.
If i talk about placements, Its satisfactory and getting improved day by day
They start assisting you from the 3rd semester.
See, what an institute can do is to make you sit in the interviews, and its up to the candidate how well he performs in interview. College people don't go and sit with student in interview room.
The 2010-2012 batch has got placed in very reputed companies like Yes Bank, ICICI Securities, Indiabulls Ltd., HDFC, Ignite Mudra and many more.
So i would suggest you to go and have a look at the campus and facilities, academics, because listening to any random comment won't help you anyways rather than leaving you in confused state.
Always remember, Everything has its two sides so the students !

If someone is making such serious allegations then it needs to be dealt with seriously. It shall be great if you can provide some credible data about the b-school, like placements 2012, kind of profiles offered to the students, average and lowest package offered, batch profile, faculty profile, entrance exam, cut-off etc.
I tried searching this information on the official website of the institute but couldn't find.
