In recent years GMAT has definitely gained acceptance in India , we see more and more schools have now included GMAT in their eligibility criteria. When Should an aspirants focus on GMAT and in which situation on CAT if one is aiming to get admission in premiere B-School in India. GMAT has more or less set pattern, however CAT each year has a surprise element , so if you want to plan your strategies and prepare accordingly GMAT can be a choice. Some even feel GMAT is easier than CAT .

If you have failed to crack CAT (Common Aptitude Test), look at GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test) as an option to gain admission to any of the top ranked B-School in India and abroad.

Not that it is easy, but GMAT seems to have gained acceptance in India in recent years for admission to PG programmes, not just in business administration, but other streams as well.
