NMAT 2013 is out of the bag.

NMAT-2013, the entrance test to NMIMS is a 120 minute test with three sections, details as follows:

Language Skills - 32 questions - 22 mins
Quantitative Skills - 48 questions - 60 mins
Logical Reasoning - 40 questions - 38 mins

Features of NMAT-2013:
Section Order Selection

• NMAT-2013 provides candidates with a section order choice, which means candidates can choose the order of sections of NMAT-2013.
• Each of the three sections has individual section timings and candidates need to answer and review the questions of the particular section within the allotted section time.
• In case a candidate completes the section (answering & reviewing) before the section time gets over, the balance time of the given section will not get added to the next section(s). The next section has its own time limits and candidate needs to complete the section in the allotted section time.

The content for NMAT-2013 will not change. The NMAT-2013 will be a multiple-choice question paper that includes Quantitative Ability, Language Skills and Logical Reasoning.

NMAT is used to shortlist students for the following programmes

MBA - 360 Seats
MBA Banking - 60 Seats
MBA Capital Market - 60 Seats
MBA HR - 30 Seats
MBA Pharmaceutical Management - 120 Seats
PGDM – Bengaluru Campus - 120 Seats
PGDM – Hyderabad Campus - 60 Seats
To get admission to these programmes candidates need to clear group Discussions & Personal Interview after qualifying the NMAT test.

NMAT is conducted in a time frame of 3 months, allowing choice of two retakes to the students should any of them wish to. In such cases, the best of three scores will be considered.
