bimtechs cut off would be 70 odd percentile...placements are not too good..wont reccomend

wellingkar better brand visibilty...better placements than bimtech...cutoff in the same range...max will go up to 75

i would second the above opinion...last heard their best course seems to be their retail course which somehow gets 100 % placement...know this for a fact cos a friends doing that course...on other courses, the scene is not that good...but with the job market looking goodd, they may just manage decent placements...

welingkars relatively is much much better...

hope that helped..

regards

Hi! Guys

I agree with u guys. Welingkar is better option then Bimtech.
Welingkar has location advantage and thus it can place it students much easily then bimtech.
secondly Welinglar's faculty is also better then Bimtech.
Fee structure of both the institute is very much similar.
hope this information will help you.

Cheers
Abhishek

Default Bimtech - bite the bullet

Hi Shashank

Although I responding to an old message trail..but its better late than never.

I saw lot of people responding to your message but you need to always take non-partisan approach for effective decision making.

The facts speak louder than messages posted by alumni/ students of various institutes...

fact 1: The placements of BIMTECH was 100%+ for the last 2 years and this year within 5 days of placement weeks start more than 75% of the students were placed

fact 2: Companies who visit campus of BIMTECH include Infosys, HCL, LG, BoB, Wipro, Genpact, Satyam, Madura Garments, Primus etc...few names out of 70+ companies visited the campus this year

So if you have already taken decision regarding not applying for BIMTECH and that too in favor of ITM/ Welligkar!!! then its a decision taken so no more message trails.
But if you havnt then re-think.

Even the outlook ratings are better for BIMTECH than whatever regional institutes are under discussion in this message trail.

Thank You

Murty

Default hi Mahitha

I am not aware of the cut-off percentiles. You can speak to Dr. Anshul Verma - 9412224561 and take my reference NSN Murty.

Secondly, regarding the options for specialization - it purely depends upon which industry and what profile you want to have post-MBA...my colleague with BE-Mech is currently working as HR Manager post his MBA!

So its really depends upon your career aspiration.
