I'm just four months left to complete my MBA Finance program from Karnataka University, Dharwad (Karnataka). Please suggest me some certificate or Diploma courses located in Banglore, Pune, Dehli, Hyderabad.

1.capital markets
2.derivatives

is there any other course which can be completed in 1 odd yr and get us good jobs in inv banking , brokerages or banks??????

dis s karthik. doin 2nd yr MBA (fin with mktg). i did elec engg. tell me how to learn finance.. it seems most of them are tellin finance was a tough subject for engineers when compared to arts background.. to equip myself hav 2 do any diploma courses in finance??

as you have just 4 months to complete ur job, you have must decided in which sector do you want to go. so nse provides a number of certificate for the financial management name ncfm. for futher information u can check the nse website. i hope it would helpful for u

Nobody becomes fund manager by doing some course. Start your career with a brokerage house - work for 1-2 years writing equity research reports and getting a feel of market and then probably think about CFA from AIMR. but first try to get a job in equity research side first.

Swati rightly said no body becomes fund manager by doin a short term course...the right approach is to dirty ur hands in equity research and work your way up....yes if u clear that thats your desyination you can programme your career like that for next 5 years and choose your employers and roles accordingly
