hey divya,

r you requesting or ordering us to give you an ans.

well keeping it at bay, you must give the true ans as to y you are going for it.

n if you think your ans is not that much satisfactory, then manipulate it in different words to make it look attractive.

but dont give a reason that is nit true.

regards
gaurav

Hello Gaurav, I'm new at this site and dont really know how to create a new thread... but I'm posting my query as a reply to your message.

I have just completed my M.A (English) Hons.
I want to do MBA HR ... being an "Arts" student till now... I'm not very comfortable/good at Maths, so I've choosed HR, but I've searched at Goodle, & have found out that HR is not a better option (as compared to Finance)

So i wanted to know that if I do MBA in HR would I have any problem in finding a good/well-paid job ?
Do you think that being an arts student + weak at maths, i can think about MBA in Finance ?

I am soon going to start my coaching... Fingers crossed !!
Plz Help. Thx

hey

look if asked y mba hr,,the first thing u should know is that it deals with employ dealing of the company not any thing so think with this prospect of answering....with mixixng it with ur true feeling and polish ur answer so that it doesn't look vague...

like i want to do join HR after physiotherapy coz i have a great interest in looking the new challenges and developments in HR field about lowering of atrition rate and all.....

like this look for the present day challenges in HR by reading the articles on HR so that interviewer should realize that besides being a part of physiotharepy u know HR very well....

A person can be a good business person but as well a good cook also....
although both are totally different

There seem to be a lot of myths doing the rounds about HR. Believe me, those who dread Maths, should stay away from management completely. For management is about business and "business is spoken in words but conducted in numbers". HR management requires more economits, Statisticians and mathematicians than any other other fields of management. Its technological interface is about to explode. As regards the aspects of pay and glamour, please refer to placements reports of TISS, XLRI, SCMHRD and MDI-HR.

I shall soon post an article on "what is HR today and what is it going to be - An Insider's analysis and prophesy."

Keep yourself updated on Knowledge Zone.
