SMOT School of Business (SSB) accepts mat scores. SSB is a premier Management Institute in Chennai. The founder Dr.Narasimhan has played an important role in starting the institutions like Great Lakes and he has been a part of many other institutions. SSB offers Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) - a one year, fulltime program and a 16 months fulltime program in Management.

But I am not sure whether you will get through with this percentile. Anyways you can give the internal test conducted by Smot.

Question Re: College on the basis of MAT score??

Hi,
I am new to this site. Can anyone tell me which MAT examination in the year actually fetches more calls from good institutes ? I have no idea about this. Is it the feb, may, sept or dec ?
I am currently working in a mnc in kolkata and am satisfied with my job and hence don't want to quit and go for a full time mba course. This is why I did not sit for CAT. I want to do a part time mba/pgdm from a descent institute. I sat for the may MAT this year without much preparation and secured 84.04 percentile. I haven't received many calls so far. Can anyone tell me which MAT(feb/may/sept/dec) is the best for getting calls and whether to sit for MAT again with better preparation or wait.

Hello Sagar,
I think you have secured a good score,so there is no need for you to wait. Also you are working fine.So you can go for part-time MBA or Executive MBA to upgrade yourself. But do not go for distance MBA.I do not think it has any value because in MBA the class room exposure is very essential.
Sagar you can check out the colleges which provide Executive MBA.As far as my knowledge goes,EIILM Kolkata has one for working professionals. Also it is a good institute and has many tie-ups with the industry.
ALL THE BEST!
