I wish to move on to achieve new career and make myself the best person for future advancements. I have achieved one degree and I want to go for an advanced degree. Since, due to my job, i can't attend regular classes to earn a degree, I was looking for some other way to learn, like online learning.

Online college education offers a more convenient way to the traditional college experience. Its for this reason that many people find the option of online education.

But it is important to clear some queries prior to signing up. It would be better understanding of both the procedures and expectations associated with college online education. Some of the queries coming up in my mind are like:

1. Are online college accreditations equal in value to accreditations obtained in traditional schools?
2. How do prices can be compared between college online education and traditional colleges?

Online generic degree dont offer much value so you can focus on specific valuable courses rather than going for just some degree. If you are in finance field, you can go for NSE certification or go for CFA from AIMR

Since, i am not into finance, i would be interested to do advance course in my domain only.

As mentioned, i already owe one degree, its just like i need to upgrade my profile in my current job. I'm all the more interested to enhance my managerial skills.

Doing online couse is of no use its just the wastage of money and efforts. if you want to enhance your carrer try to go for some part time cources which substantiate atleast weekend lectures that would help you....

If a person is planning to learn further and also sparing time from his hard schedule, it means he is interested to upgrade himself personally as well as professionally in a real sense. Such people don't need to be advised rather they are self-motivated. If a person is not even attentive in a land based classes then how can you expect from him to be attentive in online classes.

Moreover, these days an individual starts earning for himself at an early age, and i don't think there is any harm if one desires to earn knowledge and money side by side.

Suggestion was given looking to current market scenario… online courses are not demanded in market, how ever if you want to do it just for the sake of enhancing your knowledge off course you can go for it but don’t expect a yield from that.How ever its just a personal view if you don’t find it suitable just ignore it, no one is trying to de motivate you….Choice is yours, All the best

suzane, for managerial skills- the better option is to for for some masters program like mba in management of information systems, in marketing, in public administration.

As far as online education is concerned, there is nothing like that its lesser in demand. You should be self motivated to upgrade yourself to move ahead in your career.
