Thumbs up How to find a job?

How many people would like to attend a seminar to learn How to find a job? I guess lots and lots people will like to, but in reality something else happens. I will like to tell all of you about a seminar of How to find a job? The Seminar organizing company was a recruitment firm who mailed around 2000 mails to people especially in that location so that people can take advantage of it and it was free of cost.

It was interesting to find that only 7 people turned up for the seminar Voweeeeee! That’s a huge number as compared to 2000 mails send even when it was free of cost.

Let’s get down to business; the person teaching us was an experienced Consultant and jumped off the seat directly to the topic of How to find a job? without wasting time.

Step 1: Select the sector of focus (For Example:FMCG, Consumer Durable).

Step 2: Collect the list of Companies in the focused sector.

Step 3: Focus on List of companies you want to work with.

Step 4: Prepare yourself to face the companies (Mentally & Physically)

Step 5: Prepare your Resume and Cover letter with great care without silly mistake and direct conveying of message you want to communicate.

Step 6: Spread yourself all across the sector and companies by sending them resume with cover letter.

Step7: Contact Consultants, Headhunters, Search Firms and Employment Agencies to help across the requirement side and forward them your resume with cover letter.

Step 8: Keep a tab on Newspaper Ads for Job and also keep an eye on Various Job fairs

Step 9: Develop network on professional websites where professionals share their experience and provide information on industry requirement.

Step 10: Rework your strategy of approach to companies if things are not working out as you planned.

Step 11: Give interview with confidence and a Smile.
