CAT 2009 ...Seems like never ending enigma

In a press release sent this morning, IIM Ahmedabad has informed MBA aspirants that CAT result would be announced @ the end of feb...
However they did not provide any reason

I dont know why they dont understand that this is very disappointing part on students future to get late ... Please GOD Help me .

The students are already late in seeking admissions due to delayed conduct of CAT-2009. Now, the delay has caused a large scale inconvenience among the B-School aspirants across the country seeing the late progress in admissions.

There are over 120 non-members IIM, management schools registered with CAT, which use the CAT score as criteria for granting admissions apart from eight IIMs.

25th Feb ToI edition states that CAT results would be out soon. They wont declare the GD PI calls though. That will take a month more.

With CAT results out last week ... everyone thought finally this chapter would be closed for good... but now thr's a new twist in the tail...

With IIM's and students sparring over the methodology used for the CAT scores!
Over 20 right to information (RTI) applications have been filed across the country till date by students, and many more are expected....

Prometric has put up a statement in its defence.
It says "We have reviewed the test scoring and we are completely confident that the results are appropriately distributed across the population, and that the test performed well within international standards. We are absolutely confident that the scores and rankings are accurate"

but the student community still protesting against it ...
