CAT score - 92%ile

What are my chances ?

I have scored 94.08 percentile in CAT. What are my chances to get a call from IMT Ghaziabad?

OA: 98.75
QUANT : 98.26
LRDI : 96.06
VERBAL: 93.70

I think I'll get a call if I fill up the form but I just wanted to ask if it's really worth it because I don't want to waste anymore money.
Can you throw some light on placements please? Also I wanted to ask which among NITIE and IMT is better?

Last year


GD PI calls were given to people having 96 %ile or more (irrespective of sectional marks)

Work-ex, acads, GD, PI play a major role in your chances of getting a call

@screwed - During the last 3-4 years, the cut-off for GD/PI calls appeared to be above 95%. So appears that the chances are slim..

@alok25 - Alok, If the score is not in 90s, a call from IMT Ghaziabad is unlikely. You can check IMT Nagpur or Dubai.

Anthonyperia... In the last few years.. we have witnessed the cut-off levels above 95%ile... At 94.98 percentile, a call is very unlikely. Wish you all the best.

@Ashutosh... I would suggest you should fill up the form. NITIE & IMT-G are considered close competitors.. However, mostly IMT is ranked better than NITIE. With regards to placement, can I know what specifically would you like to know. Overall the placements in the last few years have been good, with last year's avg. being above 8 lacs.

2010 B.Tech (CSE) passout, Work Ex- Jun 2010 till date
Class X- 90.6 CBSE
Class XII- 78.6 CBSE
B.Tech- 7.9/10 (CGPA)

Overall Score- 97.66
Quant- 88.39
DI and logic- 97.66
Verbal- 94.16

Should I apply for IMT Ghaziabad? Or I should take CAT again next time, because I appeared this year casually only to test my natural skills, but if there are chances this year, then why to wait for one extra year. Please guide what should I be doing ?

You can apply for IMT ghaziabaad ... Last year its cut-off was around 96
