Question Queries on the "Executive Program In Global Business Management (EPGBM) from IIMC"

Dear Sir,

My name is Vijay Krishna Jammi.
I'm an IT professional and I have an experience of around 5 years and i'm currently working for Capgemini.
I 'm planning to pursue an "Executive MBA" and i was going through different programs that are currently available. I was looking into one of the programs "Executive Program In Global Business Management (EPGBM) from Indian Institute of Management(IIMC)" and i felt this program is really good based on the Curriculum and based on the experience/exposure that I have in different "Supply Chains/Domains" in my 5 years of experience like "Consumer Retail, Manufacturing & Automobile insurance".

Can someone please advise me if my approach is right and the program that i selected is good or will i find a better program than this? My situation is i'm a working professional full-time and i cannot move forward with a full-time MBA for now as per my constraints.

Can you please kindly advise me if i'm planning for the good one and also this program is being conducted by HUGHES International. When i contacted HUGHES on this program, they conveyed me that there will be no PLACEMENT ASSITANCE.
Once i complete my course, can someone please adivse me on what should be my mode of approach to persue a good job using my Executive MBA?

To summarize on a whole, here are my questions.

1. Can you please advise me if the "Executive Program In Global Business Management (EPGBM)" fits my situation for an executive MBA or do you suggest any other alternatives?

2. I heard through HUGHES that there will be no PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE offered as part of this program. So once i complete this course, what should be my mode of approach for finding opportunities utlizing my "Exutive MBA"?

Thanks so much for your valuable time, advise and thoughts.

Thanks again Sir.

Vijay Krishna Jammi
Consultant, Capgemini.

Doing executive mba from a reputed b-school will increase your chance to get a high profile, But when a institute itself not provide any placement guarantee then how can you think you will get a good job after completing EMBA from this institute.

Dear Mazahir

With online MBA you can't change your track, it is difficult.

Hi Priya
ok what about its use when candidates are considered for onsite opportunities?
And what will be its value if somebody switch job and apply for project manager rather than a technical guy?

Hi

Sometimes ppl do change if there is not major diff e,g, you might ot shift from IT services to say equity analyst but you can certainly try to change to project management from IT services.

hi friend,
if you like to continue in your current job and do MBA Online then NIBM will be a good option which offers AICTE/UGC/DEC approved online Executive MBA programs. NIBM is an internationally accepted institute, it got approved and accredited by IAO (Houston,USA), it is also an institutional member of AIMA (All India Management Association) and MMA (Madras Management Association).
