Hi
I have just finished with my graduation exams and was planning to take up MBA as my Post Graduation course. Also I have been doing a computer course GNIIT at NIIT along with my graduation. This GNIIT course will be completed in December 2012 or Jan 2013. And I need to work for a year to get its certificate. So I'm confused how to go about it; whether i do a regular MBA(after a year) or a distant learning MBA? Also I'm confused if I should go in for MBA or PGDM? Please help

Hi
I would suggest you to go with regular MBA after getting some work experience and there is no difference between pgdm and MBA. MBA degree is offered by university and PGDM is offered by institutes. maximum top b-schools offer PGDM degree (IIMs, NITIE, FMS, and other leading mba colleges)

Hello !!
I think you should choose regular MBA after having one year of experience. Reason being, 1. You will get your certificate from GNIIT 2. You can use this work experience of one year for a better performance in the B-School interviews. And MBA and PGDM are more or less similar, so you can go for either. A student of Regular MBA is usually better then others in terms of skills and knowledge.
