Hey sorry for replying too late...
Cool man..u r having good experience...
Regarding great lakes....let me first tell u about the faculty. U always get world class faculty. Most of the teachers that we get are from US and teaching in respected B-schools. Our PGPM director Prof. Venkatkrishnan was teaching in XLRI before joining Great Lakes. Even uncle Bala come to teach us and rite now he is teaching us. Regarding placements, last year we got 7.2 as average salary. If you want to know more anout the life at Great Lakes and events happening...u can see this blog also. http://www.greatlaker.blogspot.com/

Hi Gayathri,
I am not madam...neways I would say that you take CAT this year also as in this percentile it would not be possible to get a call. I suggest you apply this year to great lakes and take CAT n try to get better percentile so that you stand a good chance to get in the institute.

GLIM also allows you to take thier own aptitude test (GET), in which case u dont need CAT [or else they allow GMAT]. Any idea how this test compares in terms of difficulty level with CAT or other tests ?

Hi Gautham,
GET was used also along with CAT and GMAT till last year but this year it has been scrapped. So If anybody is interested in applying he should either take CAT or GMAT. GMAT (5 years) and CAT scores of 2005 and 2006 will be accepted.
