The top five areas of current employment for people considering an MBA remain broadly stable with only engineering increasing: -

1. Information technology 17% (17%) ((13%))

2. Financial services and banking 15% (15%) ((17%))

3. Consulting 11% (11%) ((13%))

4. Engineering 10% (8%) ((6%))

5. Industry 6% (no previous figures due to new categorisation)

These findings clearly indicate the continuing revival in employment opportunities in IT, consulting, financial services and banking and a renewed popularity of an MBA for engineers.
