4.6.6 Test Preparation

Any MBA application requires preparation and a number of qualifications including the GMAT and TOEFL. A majority of applicants surveyed have already completed their GMAT. There are no significant differences in the preparedness of men and women. However, there are differences in the way they study. Women (27%) are more likely than men (20%) to take preparation courses and men (81%) more likely to self-study than women (76%). Women (23%) are more likely than men (18%) to use online materials and men (84%) more likely than women (79%) to use book or a CD-Rom.
