The MBA Tour Establishes Scholarship Fund

The MBA Tour is an independent and high-quality information source regarding MBA admissions. They organize conferences with the world's top business programs for MBA Aspirants the world over. Their events emphasize personal interaction between
prospective MBA students, business school admissions representatives, alumni and other like-minded education enthusiasts. Established in 1993, they have built their reputation based on representing top business schools from North America, Europe, Asia, and South America.

They provide full service support to the MBA recruitment efforts of their business school clients, including logistics, introduction to key contacts in local markets and, of course, matching Admissions Directors with MBA aspirants in Asia, the USA, India, Latin America, Canada and Europe.

The MBA Tour has established a Scholarship Fund through which they will award scholarships to admitted MBA students who wish to create business opportunities for others in their home countries.

Scholarships will be given on one or more of the following criteria: -

  • Desire to return to home country to grow a family business and create employment.

  • Desire to create a socially responsible entrepreneurial venture.

  • Desire to work for an international lending organization providing loans for projects in developing countries.

  • A former volunteer / employee of a public service / non-profit organization.

Scholarship recipients must have attended The MBA Tour event and must be accepted to enroll in a participating business school. Their upcoming events in India are scheduled to be held from September 27 to October 4, 2008.
