Responsible for revenue generation for Govt / Defence within India region
Proven track record of Business Development in the Govt / Defence vertical
Responsible for account mapping, identification of stakeholders & revenue generation from Solutions through new sales from the Govt. Defense accounts
Complete ownership of the sales cycle (prospecting to sales closure) within the accounts handled by BDM
Identify and develop new revenue streams for short-medium-long-term revenue growth and maintaining relationships with customers to achieve repeat/new business
Initiate and develop relationships with key decision-makers in the accounts for business development
Complete ownership of account & ongoing account management

  • Understanding of Domain & the solutions / services that would fit into the Govt / Defense accounts
  • Proven record in revenue generation QOQ and YOY in Solutions selling in Govt
  • Good communication skills - Written & Verbal
  • Ability to look at an account holistically & independently and understand the requirements from the business & IT Ability to position the services from Wipro appropriately within an account
  • Technology savvy
