Job Description:
Brief Background on the Job: - A proactive, flexible, intelligent and communicative individual is required to support a small dynamic team of professionals. The team liaises with offices in London and Hong Kong.
Reporting to: - The individual will report to Director, Principal Investments and Private Equity.
The Finance Manager will support 3 lines of business investing in India.
Primary Responsibilities: -
  • Managing and operating Tally for business expenditure.
  • MIS reporting, including profitability across 3 lines on business.
  • Statutory and financial reporting.
  • Cash management.
  • Tax: managing returns, structuring, filing and reporting.
  • Fund settlement and administration.
  • Financial, operational and internal controls.
  • Project management of internal / external auditors.
  • Coordination of local tax, regulatory and compliance issues (possible Local Compliance Officer role).

    Candidate Profile:
  • The candidate should have some experience or understanding of Private Equity. However, mature, well-organized capable candidates with a positive attitude and strong communication skills with commitment to learn and contribute are encouraged to apply.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3-6 years of post-qualification experience. MBA would be an added advantage.
  • Some knowledge of International GAAP.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills (client facing, perhaps through audit experience).
  • Experience in Finance (perhaps international CFA member).
  • Good command of English writing, grammar.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Well-organized and working well to agreed deadlines.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word / Excel & Tally.
  • Candidates having good exposure in Finance and knowledge of international accounting standards working with private equity firms / investment banking / reputed audit firms / Treasury at Blue Chip Indian Corporate with international exposure.
