Responsibilities: -
  • Identify key consumer opportunities, while strongly liaising with Consumer Insights, Marketing, etc. Identify consumer barriers to taste in health and wellness areas and strongly incorporate the knowledge into product development to overcome consumer concerns.
  • Identify appropriate new and relevant technologies with appropriate cost focus and recommend final technical specifications for the line.
  • Build future knowledge and skills on Technology and Science in the areas of Health and Wellness and in the areas of non-core technologies.
  • Linking product development to consumer responses and building products with appropriate technology back-up, scale-up and properly specified processes.

    Candidate Profile:
    Food Technologist with an Engineering background./ M.Sc. / Ph.D. / B. Tech. / M. Tech. in Food Science and/or /B.Tech. / M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering. MBA would be an added advantage. The role requires experience of over 10-13 years, preferably 2-4 years in Operation / Engineering, 6 years in R & D. This role demands a good understanding of consumer nuances, flair for consumer knowledge along with core technical strengths especially Engineering / Food Science & Technology / Nutrition.
