Job Description:
  • Review and Comment on Customer Contracts
  • Advise and implement Company\'s contracting policies and processes
  • Draft and negotiate Contract terms and conditions with customer
  • Provide assistance to analyze and assess contractual risks
  • Provide assistance to seek approvals on deviations of contract policies
  • Provide assistance to resolve contractual disputes
  • Help assure project scope change or contract amendment are quoted, negotiated, billed, and collected in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the legal dept to resolve or support resolution of complex legal issues
  • Provide Contract Management and related trainings
  • Advise and provide management with up to date information of the local business and legal requirements for contracting with customers and for formulating contracting policies
  • build contract database and provide timely reports on contract metrics and complex legal issues
  • Act as the bridge and point of contact between all supporting functions and business for resolving contractual issues
  • Travel occasionally as required

    Candidate Profile:
    EXPERIENCE

  • At least 9-12 years relevant experience in contracts management
  • Desirable 2 to 3 years\' experience in managing projects or in a business development role

    • SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

    To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

  • An in-depth understanding of commercial contracting terms and conditions/practices and legal implications.
  • Solid knowledge of laws & regulations governing the contracts.
  • The strong ability to draft, analyze, interpret and negotiate complex contract terms and conditions
  • Knowledge in risk assessment and analytical skills
  • Ability to teach simply and clearly the contracts management and principles to Sales and Operations associates
  • Understanding of financial concepts (cash flow, revenue recognition, etc) and impact of contract terms on those concepts
  • Ability to integrate commercial/business needs with contractual obligations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High ethical standards
  • The ability to deal with tactfully and confidently with internal and external customers at all organization levels in independent and often stressful situations
  • Relevant experience in process solution industry will be an advantage
  • Maturity/professional attitude
  • Fastidious attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to a cyclical work load and to multi-task
  • Fluency in English
