Role: - To ensure retention of existing customers and maximize revenue to exceed AOP targets.
Major Activities: -
A. Product
  • Designing a Product Strategy and Roadmap.
  • Innovative product offerings to create product differentiation and advantage over competition.
  • Designing new products to meet changing customer demands.
  • Research on customer requirements to identify niche segments and target them through specific product offerings.
  • Bundled VAS with tariff plans.
    • B. Price
  • Ensure correct plan mix for new acquisitions to achieve ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) objectives.
  • Selling of Value-Added Services at the time of sale to maximize ARPU.
    • C. Promotion
  • Periodic Schemes and Offers to boost acquisition numbers.
  • Co-ordination with Alliances Team to acquire alliance partner customers on Broadband.
  • Co-ordinate with the Communications Team to promote the product from an acquisition perspective.
  • Advertising both mass media and below the line, roadshows, internal communication, etc.
    • D. Place
  • Different policies and incentives for different types of Channel Partners such as DSA, Retail, Direct Sales Team, etc.
  • City specific tariffs basis differential needs, network considerations, company objectives, etc.
    • E. People
  • Extensive interactions with the HO and Regional Sales Teams, Finance, Customer Service, Communications, Legal, Network, IT, etc.

    Candidate Profile:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in telecom or any other service industry. Experience can be in marketing / product management.
  • A Post Graduate Degree in Business Management and Engineering (preferably in Electronics and Telecommunications) from premier institute.
  • Should have keen interest in understanding consumer behavior, technology trends, understanding of network, IT systems, etc.
  • Telecom / Service Industry domain expertise.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, relationship management abilities, team building skills.
