Job Description:
Responsibilities: - The BW Associate CPO is responsible for leading and driving BW small improve and enhance support Operations in the India support center. The Associate CPO is responsible for working with the team to implement the workflow, prioritization, communication and execution processes. He will help with translation of user requirements into specifications and trouble-shooting and resolution of issues. Responsible for delivering effective and efficient BW solutions and ensure that the solution is designed / deployed consistent with defined architectural standards and processes. He will support efforts to drive alignment of business requirements across businesses and functions. He will help lead and mentor BW developers and TQD team members.

Candidate Profile:
  • Should be an MBA.
  • Experience of atleast 10 years in IT and atleast 6 years in SAP BW / BI.
  • In-depth knowledge and extensive hands-on experience in Design & Development of BW Solutions including Data Extraction from Source Systems, BW Modeling using Administrator Workbench and Reporting.
  • Detailed knowledge of BW architectural and system components, with an in-depth knowledge of how to balance design to achieve desired performance goals with low TCO (total cost of ownership).
  • Ability to Conduct Requirements Workshops to gather requirements and develop Level 1 and Level 2 Specifications for small enhancements.
  • Strong Experience in Extraction of Data from SAP R/3, APO and non-R/3 Systems.
  • Experienced in Design, Development, Testing and Implementation of BW Solutions using Administrator Workbench including and not limited to InfoProviders, MultiProviders, ODS Objects, Process Chains for Data Loads, Transfer and Update Rules, etc.
  • Knowledge of Aggregates, Indexes, InfoCube Compression, Extraction using Open Hub Interface, Remote Cubes, PSA Data Management, Logical Partitioning.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one or more SAP process areas.
  • Basic Knowledge of ABAP/4 and ability to design and develop ABAP Logic / Minor Programs.
  • Well-versed with Database Fundamentals to help in design of Efficient and Effective Extraction and Reporting Solutions.
