Job Description:
Responsibilities: -
  • Manage IT infrastructure and end-user IT services for organization’s offices covering India and Asia.
  • This role will be a mix of technology, people, Customer Service and financial management for Internal IT Infrastructure & Services.
  • Manage requirements of business stake-holders and deliver high quality IT services with a team of 2 to 3 organization’s staff in Asia and 10 contract or outsourced partner staff in India.
  • Manage Business As Usual operations, projects for service improvements, prepare and manage IT budgets for the geography.
  • Work closely with local teams, offshore IT partners and organization’s UK IT teams for solution delivery, escalation management and incident resolution.
  • Scope will be an end-user base of about 400 in India and about 60 in Asia.
  • This role reports into Head of IT Infrastructure - Asia.

    Candidate Profile:
  • MBA with a minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience on a similar or larger scale.
  • The candidate should be self-motivated with sound leadership qualities, excellent presentation & communication skills with customer service attitude.
  • Should be a good team manager and player.
  • Ability to independently manage the role for the region.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows environment. Strong skills in active directory and exchange. MCSE preferred.
  • Previous exposure to finance related to IT infrastructure.
  • Previous exposure to vendor management. Should have interacted with multiple vendors for procurement, held negotiations and coordinated the buying process.
  • People management skills.
  • Should have run 24/7 operations before.
  • Hiring and retention management experience.
  • Experience of setting up and managing management systems (systems and network infra) to reduce downtime in an IT environment.
  • Service management skills.
  • Exposure to handling international team members and international cultures.
