Job Description:
This role is responsible for leading the L&D function across India, with particular emphasis on leadership development. The role will be responsible for setting learning strategy, needs analysis, development of solutions and oversight of delivery of corporate curriculum for employees across India.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Work with business leaders and HR to understand business direction and define learning needs in support of business priorities. Implement corporate learning strategies. Work with HR partners to support talent management and change management/organizational development initiatives. Define goals and objectives, key deliverable dates aligned with the rhythm of the business calendar, and success metrics for learning & development in India.
  • Consulting: Work with HR and business leaders to understand business issues and recommend appropriate learning solutions. Understand the developmental needs of India’s leaders, managers, and employees. Consult with HR and other colleagues to create appropriate interventions.
  • Relationships: Integrate and align with Corporate Learning & Development to ensure connection to corporate strategy and curriculum. Provide input to design of corporate solutions and engage with other L&D leaders across the world. Establish clear lines of accountability and relationship between India’s Learning & Development and Corporate L&D program managers. Drive regular business reviews and partnership meetings.
  • Facilitation: Certify facilitators in the organization's programs. Provide in depth, credible feedback to other experienced facilitators. Candidate will have significant experience and expertise in program and team facilitation.
  • Program development and implementation: Localize and deliver CLD and intact team training programs. Work with CLD and other program managers to rollout offerings. Understand the CLD curriculum and review new and existing content to ensure that it meets the needs in the India. Provide appropriate feedback into the development cycle.
  • Vendor management/certification: Manage contracts and relationships with vendors in alignment with CLD policy. Manage external vendors to ensure high-quality offerings.
  • Marketing and Communications: Promote learning offerings to employees across India in alignment with the business rhythm and guidelines. Synchronize communications with other training organizations as appropriate. Communicate L&D strategy and offerings to HR and enlist support in evangelizing L&D offerings.
  • Reporting and Finance: Manage business of India’s learning & development. Evaluate and report program and initiative results.

    The ideal candidate will be a thought leader in learning disciplines, able to engage with senior leaders to make learning relevant to the business agenda.
  • Successful candidate will possess depth of expertise in leadership development as well as broader management and employee development, including needs analysis/organization diagnostics, learning solution design and creating integrated learning approach.
  • Candidate must possess excellent consulting, facilitation, communication, program management skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have strong people management skills
  • Candidate will have ability to see beyond the presenting problem, identify underlying root causes, and propose appropriate interventions.
  • Candidate must be highly collaborative and have ability to influence across organizations.
  • BS/BA in relevant field is strongly recommended. MS/MA preferred. This position will require some travel across India, as well as occasional travel to the US.
  • Minimum of 15 years Human Resources, learning and development or Organizational Consulting experience recommended.
