Job Description:
Responsibilities: -
  • Undertaking complex industry, competitor and client level analysis, as and when required. The analysis work might include complex transactions requiring structured credit facilities.
  • Providing technical advice and assisting Sector Teams onshore, as needed.
  • Adhering to internal processes for quality and delivering required throughput of high quality credit reviews on time.
  • Interacting periodically with onshore business partners, and other stakeholders, as required.
  • Pro-actively suggest and design improvements in process workflow, where applicable.
  • To understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal & external rules, regulations & procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which you are involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
  • To maintain Internal Control standards, including the timely implementation of internal & external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
  • To be aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with your role and act in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.

    Candidate Profile:
    Qualifications: - Masters Degree or equivalent in Business / Management, Finance, Economics, etc., from a premier institute. Additional financial qualifications like CA / ICWA / CFA (US) would be preferred.
    Experience: - 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Corporate or Institutional Banking or Credit Ratings / Research arena.
    Skills: -
  • Proven skills in corporate credit analysis are essential.
  • Good knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Good knowledge of financial modeling and experience of use of decision tools.
  • Highly proficient at Excel and Word. Moderate level of database skills.
  • Excellent English, written and spoken; hard-working; organised; diligent.
  • Good team player.
  • A basic understanding of Basel II and risk management systems would be an advantage.
